For each product, Stockpit will track the following quantities:
- On-hand stock refers to the quantity physically present in your stock location (warehouse, truck, office, basement, etc.).
- Available stock is equal to the quantities in your on-hand stock, minus the quantities included in your orders but not yet in the shipping orders. This is referred to as reserved stock.
You can view the list of reserved products in the 'Sales' menu > 'Reserved Products':
For each product, you will see the order number associated with the reserved product(s), the stock location, the quantity of products in the order, the quantity already delivered ("Allocated"), the quantity remaining to be delivered ("Reserved"), and the shipping date of the order.
