Stock Counts

Stockpit lets you create stock counts. This allows users to manually count their inventory and add the relevant adjustments at the same time in Stockpit.

This can be done in each location, with the potential addition of a more precise bin location to narrow down the area.

There are a number of ways you can go about your stock counts :

1 - Updating the quantities manually

2- Using a barcode scanner to add them automatically to the count

3- Using a mobile device with a camera to scan the barcodes

4- Doing an export and a re-import of the stock for those who would rather work offline or want to do a count in a location without signal

Every change is automatically saved, in order to ensure no data is lost during navigation. When the new quantities are added, the variance between the current and the new quantities is also shown on-screen.

When the document is created, it keeps track of all the necessary adjustments.
A final confirmation completes the process and automatically adjusts the quantities.

If operations take place between the creation of the document and its completion, they will not affect the adjustment, as Stockpit bases the adjustments on the variance between the counted quantities and the stock levels at the time of creation of the document.

All of the adjustments can then also be found in the inventory logs.
