The 1.5 update for Stockpit comes with a set of new features, we will look through the new features and see how they can help you manage your stock levels more efficiently.
Permissions and access management
You can now manage acces levels and permissions in Stockpit if you have various users on your account. You can pick what each and every user has access to and what they can do with the software depending on role and status.
For more information on permissions management, please have a look at our article dedicated to that topic.
Deleting a location
You can now delete a location in Stockpit. If you choose to do so, you then need to decide in which backup location the stock of the location you're deleting will go, or if you want to delete the stock as well. Regarding the ongoing orders, they'll be automatically attached to the backup location you choose.
Alerts for batches and expiry dates
With the tracking of batch numbers in Stockpit, you can manage sensitive products on Stockpit, with their own expiry dates. Now, you can also set up alerts to let you know when a batch is about to expire, so that you can always stay one step ahead when managing your stock levels. Those alerts are customisable, whether it is how many reminders you get or who receives them.
Reorder points and purchases on the product page
Stockpit now showcases in each product's page the purchases and reorder points linked to that product. That way, you gain more visibility regarding where you stand with every single product in your catalogue. This also makes it easier to create purchases from the reorder points to ensure you never run out of stock.
These were all the new features from the Stockpit 1.5 update, new updates will follow in the coming weeks and months to help you optimise your stock management even further. Please check out our help center if you need additional information.
